The K100 is designed for high reliability kiosk applications. In the field, it has proven to meet that reliability objective with operator interventions only to reload paper .
It prints at 2 inches (50 mm) per second on 4.25 inch (108 mm) width paper. The paper roll can be up to 8 inches in diameter. It is modular to allow the kiosk manufacturer to configure the printer to the application. The basic printer/controller combination can be enhanced with power supply and cutter.
The K100SV is a new configuration to meet the requirements of today’s smaller and slimmer kiosks. SV is for svelte. Performance characteristics are the same as the standard K100. Both models have USB interface.

- Those of us in the kiosk business view the modern electronic kiosk as a recent innovation but according to Wikipedia, kiosks were common in India, Persia and the Ottoman Empire from the 13th century onward. They were the forerunner of the garden gazebo and the word kiosk comes from the Turkish root meaning “shade maker”.
